Our bed and breakfast,gite is located in the traditional mountain village of Biert, nestled in the stunning Massat valley, set in the majestic Pyrenees, 600 metres above sea level. Autumn produces a wonderful landscape and warmth; winter covers the mountains in snow, and skiing and walking are glorious; Spring brings an explosion of flowers, and a riot of colours In summer, the days are warm, but the nights are always cool and pleasant..
Step outside our door and you can walk into the hills,fish,canoe,climb,horse- ride, cycle,etc……. or just enjoy the
views. In the summer, every night, there are dances, singers,theatre
& nocturnal markets. During the day, craft exhibitions & fairs display
the local skills and trades In the winter you can easily reach the ski slopes or cross country skiing.. The friendly resort of Guzet Neige awaits the experienced and the beginners..
The wildlife and plantlife are stunning, butterflies and orchids abound,
to name just a few. Each season brings a different beauty to our
valley. Around us are fascinating, ancient towns with huge, colourful markets, museums,caves, craft centres….and much more …. to see and do. A step over the border allows you to explore our neighbour..Spain

ACCESS You can fly to TOULOUSE or CARCASSONNE, which are our nearest airports, or, to PAU or PERPIGNAN (Car hire is very simple and recommended to enjoy our fabulous region)). Alternatively take a ferry to any of the Channel Ports or to Santander/Bilbao in Spain Please don't hesitate to ask for more details on getting to us.
